Terms of Use
Using the app
Maptinerary is a personal trip-planning tool: you save places, build day plans, and open routes in a third-party map app of your choice. You may use it for personal, non-commercial trip planning. Don't use it to violate the terms of the map providers it hands off to (Naver Map, KakaoMap, Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps), and don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the app's backend services.
Your content
Places, notes, and day plans you create stay on your device — we don't claim any ownership over them, and we can't see them unless you choose to export and share a file yourself. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you import (including AI-generated itineraries) — verify locations before relying on them, which is exactly what the app's "Confirm location" prompts are there to help with.
Third-party map apps
Maptinerary hands off to map apps it does not control. Their availability, accuracy, and terms of service are their own responsibility, not ours. If a handoff fails or a route is wrong, that's between you and the map provider.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," in active beta development. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, available at all times, or fit for any particular purpose — including navigation-critical situations. Always use good judgment when traveling.
Beta feedback
If you're a beta tester, feedback you send us may be used to improve the app without further compensation or attribution, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app moves out of beta and toward a public release; the effective date above will change when we do, and material changes will be flagged in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, where the app is developed.
